Finlex expands management team with Andrea Kotter as Vice President Cyber
On November 1st, the renowned Cyber expert, Andrea Kotter, will join Finlex. She comes from Munich Re, one of the leading Cyber players in the insurance industry where she was until recently employed as Underwriting Manager – Direct Business Europe & RoW. She brings over 14 years of expertise in the (re-)insurance industry and about eight years in the Cyber industry and has worked in a wide variety of positions at Munich Re with an international focus. In addition to the European market, she also dealt with the Latin American market for a long time, thereby gaining extensive international experience. Andrea Kotter will lead a steadily-growing cross-functional team of 20 people and report directly to C-level management.
The scale-up Finlex offers the 32-year-old an attractive challenge: “Technical expertise combined with innovative solutions – that’s what I stand for. I am looking forward to actively contributing to both of these and to further expanding Finlex’s position in the Cyber insurance market together with the entire team,” says Andrea Kotter. With her many years of experience, she will drive the Cyber line of business – one of Finlex’s core areas – forward and contribute to further expanding its position as the leading marketplace in Europe.
“We are delighted to recruit Andrea Kotter, an experienced and international expert from the industry, who will be a great addition to our team of Cyber specialists,” says Finlex CEO and Co-founder Sebastian Klapper, welcoming the new colleague to the management team. “With her support, we want to further develop the Cyber line of business and create suitable solutions for our customers.”
