We are a tech-Enabled Scale-up in commercial and industrial insurance with a focus on specialty lines (financial lines). We are ready to provide you with advisory support, drawing on our expert knowledge and extensive international network. Our online marketplace also offers customized special concepts as well as an extensive knowledge database.
Our ecosystem combines the core areas of IT and business. For insurers, the Finlex platform enables automated underwriting – robo underwriting – for financial lines products and access to the leading industry brokers in Germany. We are headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, with hubs in Barcelona, Berlin, Düsseldorf, the Palatinate, Essen, Paris and Vienna.

Sebastian Klapper
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Responsible for sales, marketing, strategy and People & Culture. Contributions, lectures, talks – Sebastian’s passion is to captivate his audience, and that is why he is the face of Finlex.
Tomasz Kosecki
Chief Platform Officer (CPO)
Responsible for IT, platform conception and finances. Numbers, codes, software solutions and always a dry sense humor – that is Tomasz at Finlex.
Christian Reddig
Chief Insurance Officer (CIO)
Responsible for product management. Christian is Finlex’s walking/talking encyclopedia of product know-how and development. He is also responsible for the areas of Insurer Management and Legal / Compliance.
Alexander Stampf
Member of the Executive Board
Alexander is our in-house lawyer and expert on insurance and reinsurance.
Sabine Sander
Non-Executive Director
advises on all strategic and operational aspects on cyber insurance and beyond. Sabine has an answer to every question.
Dr. Sven Erichsen
Non-Executive Director
looks after major customers and is responsible for the further development of the cyber portfolio. Sven is passionate about managing customer projects including complex tenders or claims.
Milad Rezazadeh
Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
is the one responsible for our centrepiece – he is in charge of everything that happens in the background on the platform.
Andrea Kotter
Vice President Cyber
is a reknown expert in the cyber market. Together with her cross-functional team, her mission is to combine specialist cyber expertise with the technological solutions of Finlex and thus further expand Finlex’s position as the leading marketplace for Cyber in Europe.
Patrick Schüler
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
is in charge of the numerical universe at Finlex. In addition to Accounting & Controlling, he is also responsible for Processes and Operations.
Pascal Ouvrard
is responsible for international expansion. Based in Paris, he is the person in charge of the expansion on the European market.
Beata Drenker
is in charge of the Management Liability division at Finlex and plays a key role in serving brokers even better in this ever-evolving industry and providing them innovative solutions.

2015
Incorporation – Finlex starts as a special insurance financial lines broker with the notion of creating a transparent marketplace.
2016
Go-live of the first platform version. Launch of own product range with D&O.
2017
First Smart technology prototype. Network expansions to include IPOs and the product range with Cyber.
2018
Go-live Smart Cyber and Smart D&O up to 100 million Euro in client sales.
2019
A first for industrial insurance platforms – automated underwriting function and invoicing. Headquarters established in Frankfurt.
2020
Optimized renewal and portfolio function. Expansion of the Barcelona and Palatinate offices.
2021
Expansion of fully automated Smart Cyber and Smart D&O up to 200 million Euro in client sales. New offices in Dusseldorf and Berlin. Series A: 8 million investment – award as Scale-up with enormous growth potential.
2022
Go-live of the new platform version. New Finlex brand profile. European expansion with start in Vienna.
