As the leading tech-driven specialist broker for cyber & financial lines insurance in Germany and Austria, we combine a state-of-the-art digital platform, technical experts and an ecosystem of relevant partners.
In this way, we support cooperation brokers, offer commercial customers tailored solutions and provide individual advice in the event of a claim.
The platform provides brokers with their own digital infrastructure, from quote generation to policy, renewal and portfolio functions and an extensive knowledge database. For insurers, it enables automated underwriting (robo-underwriting) for financial lines products and access to leading industry brokers. We are headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, with hubs in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Essen and Vienna.

Sebastian Klapper
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Contributions, lectures & talks – Sebastian’s passion is to inspire his audience. In addition to the vision and strategic development, as CEO he is also responsible for the Finance, People & Culture, Strategy & Program / Austria / Sales & Key Account Management and Platform & Tech departments.

Tomasz Kosecki
Chief Xperience Officer (CXO)
As CXO, Tomasz focuses on increasing the efficiency of processes and the close integration of broking and the platform. He is responsible for the Broking, Data, Operations and Customer Desk areas and ensures that everything runs smoothly.

Christian Reddig
Chief Insurance Officer (CIO)
Christian’s focus is on the placement and support of major clients. As CIO, he is also responsible for our business relationships with insurers and the Claims & Legal division.

Dr. Sven Erichsen
Non-Executive Director
Sven manages key accounts and is responsible for the continuous development of the Cyber portfolio. He is passionate about managing customer projects, including complex tenders and claims.

Andrea Kotter
Vice President Cyber
Andrea is a proven expert in the Cyber market. With her cross-functional team, she is committed to combining specialist Cyber expertise with Finlex’s technological solutions.

Milad Rezazadeh
Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
Milad is responsible for our centerpiece – he manages all processes running behind the scenes of the platform. He is specialized in codes and tailor-made software solutions, which form the backbone of our technology.

Sabine Sander
Non-Executive Director
Sabine offers comprehensive advice on all strategic and operational aspects of Cyber insurance and beyond. She has the right answer to every question.

Patrick Schüler
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Patrick is responsible for the Finlex numerical universe. He is in charge of Finance, Accounting & Controlling.

Dr. Stephanie Belei
Head of Broking Management Liability
Stephanie is responsible for the development of innovative solutions in the area of D&O and the associated annex cover within Financial Lines. Together with her team, she focuses on specialized broking for major clients.

Johannes Höfflin
Head of Sales & Key Account Management
Johannes leads the sales and KAM team and manages its strategic development. He strengthens existing customer relationships and drives sustainable growth and the company’s market position.

Patrick Maier
Head of Broking Cyber
Patrick is driving the expansion of the SME cyber insurance portfolio. His focus is on the further development of the digital broking offering in order to develop tailor-made solutions for the coverage of cyber risks.

Maren Omsels
Maren is responsible for the entire employee cycle and always has an open ear for all Finlexers. Together with her team, she pursues the ambitious goal of creating a positive work environment and further developing the corporate culture.

Florian Ploghaus
Specialist Strategy & Program Management
Florian is responsible for strategic planning and management within the company. He optimizes processes, drives forward central initiatives and ensures the successful implementation of the corporate strategy.

Dr. Marcel Straub
Head of Legal & Claims
Marcel is responsible for all legal matters at Finlex. He specializes in insurance law and the analysis and enforcement of coverage claims for financial lines.

2015
Incorporation – Finlex starts as a special insurance financial lines broker with the notion of creating a transparent marketplace.
2016
Go-live of the first platform version. Launch of own product range with D&O.
2017
First Smart technology prototype. Network expansions to include IPOs and the product range with Cyber.
2018
Go-live Smart Cyber and Smart D&O up to 100 million Euro in client sales.
2019
A first for industrial insurance platforms – automated underwriting function and invoicing. Headquarters established in Frankfurt.
2020
Optimized renewal and portfolio function. Expansion of the Barcelona and Palatinate offices.
2021
Expansion of fully automated Smart Cyber and Smart D&O up to 200 million Euro in client sales. New offices in Dusseldorf and Berlin. Series A: 8 million investment – award as Scale-up with enormous growth potential.
2022
Go-live of the new platform version. New Finlex brand profile. European expansion with start in Vienna.
