Finlex strengthens its Austrian team

The Viennese team of Finlex will be strengthened in May with Mgr Zuzana Ruzsikova, a proven financial lines expert. She was most recently Senior Underwriter Liability & Financial Lines at R+V Versicherung AG. Prior to that, she was, among other things, Financial Lines Broker at Funk International Austria GmbH and Underwriter International Liability/Financial Lines at UNIQA Insurance Group AG.

About Mgr. Zuzana Ruzsikova

Zuzana Ruzsikova (40) graduated from Comenius University in Bratislava, her native city, with a Master’s degree in Political Science / European Studies. For more than 14 years she worked both on the insurer and broker side, since 2012 in Austria. Her career in Financial Lines started at UNIQA Corporate Business GmbH in the Governance & Referrals CB team as Underwriter Liability & Financial Lines. In 2014-2016 she was responsible for monitoring and steering the industrial business of the local UNIQA Group companies. She conducted underwriting audits, was responsible for reporting, analysis and training of the local underwriters and developed solutions in complex business cases exceeding the underwriting limits of the local underwriters and organised reinsurance. As Account Executive/Insurance Manager at the in-house broker Steinhoff Risk Solutions Ltd (London), she was responsible for the office in Austria in 2017-2018. She then moved to Funk and was responsible for the complex tenders, also in accordance with public procurement law, and the handling of complex major claims in the D&O sector until 2021. Most recently, she was employed at the Austrian branch of R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG as Senior Underwriter Liability & Financial Lines, where she was also responsible for pecuniary loss liability in addition to D&O insurance.
