Patrick Schüler joins the Finlex management team as CFO
Proven financial expert Patrick Schüler joins from fintus which is today the leading German low-code banking platform. In the last two years, as CFO and Head of M&A, he drove its structural change from a start-up to an established medium-sized software provider. At Finlex, he will be able to use the financial expertise and experience gained in particular from investor management and M&A activities in order to drive the further expansion of the company.
His career started in transaction advisory at the management consulting firm EY, he then moved to Société Générale in London and later to IEG Investment Banking Group in Berlin as Vice President Investment Banking and M&A, before joining fintus in his hometown of Frankfurt at the end of 2021.
Finlex offers the 30-year-old an attractive challenge: “I look forward to actively helping shape Finlex’s next steps to further growth. In particular internationalisation and the shift to becoming a leading player in the market require structural changes in the company, to which I can contribute my experience,” says Patrick Schüler.
“We are delighted to recruit Patrick Schüler, an experienced financial expert from the industry,” says Finlex CEO and co-founder Sebastian Klapper as he welcomes his new colleague to the management team. “With his support, we will ensure that Finlex’s rapid growth is maintained in financially sound structures. His expertise and experience will help to establish Finlex as the leading marketplace for commercial lines in Europe.”
Finlex would also like to take this opportunity to thank Frederic Fasold for his dedication and engagement during his time as CFO. Finlex wishes him every success in his future professional journey and is convinced of his positive contribution to the accomplishments of Finlex.
