Following the acquisition of cyber insurance broker Erichsen, Finlex appoints Pascal Ouvrard as European Strategy Director to strengthen its international ambitions and become the leading financial lines and cyber platform and ecosystem for businesses in Europe.
Finlex, a platform provider for insurers and insurance brokers, is continuing its international development. Specialising in financial lines and cyber insurance products for businesses, Finlex acts as a wholesale broker to build a unique ecosystem in Europe. After acquiring Erichsen, a German wholesale broker specialising exclusively in cyber insurance, on 11 May, the Insurtech company today announced the appointment of Pascal Ouvrard as Director Strategy Europe.
Leveraging over 20 years of experience in the international expansion of financial companies
After starting his international career in consulting, Pascal Ouvrard joined AXA Group’s banking business in 2002, for which he managed part of the activities in France and created AXA Bank in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. More recently, he led the expansion of the SME credit specialist October into four European countries (Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Germany), before joining CoverWallet, an Aon Company, as European Strategy Director.
His mission at Finlex will be to drive the Insurtech’s expansion in Europe, starting with France. “I am delighted to serve Finlex’s ambition to become the leading financial lines and cyber platform and ecosystem in Europe and to join them at this exciting time for the company. This role combines my two passions, international expansion and technological innovation for the benefit of businesses and our partners,” says Pascal Ouvrard.
