Finlex continues to grow its Austrian team
Finlex, one of the most successful German InsurTechs, is also showing strong growth in Austria and is strengthening its Vienna team right at the start of 2023 with the appointment of Financial Lines Broker Manager Cemgil Kav. Cemgil was most recently active as a customer advisor at R+V Versicherung AG and previously worked at Erste Bank.
Peter Loisel, Country Head Austria at Finlex GmbH remarks: “Cem convinced us with his positive personality, his strong digital affinity and the feedback from brokers who highly appreciate his excellent service attitude. Together with Cem, we are now starting the 2023 business year in which we have a lot in store, for example, we are expanding our product range with additional insurers and new products on the platform. We can also expect new features on our platform.”
Cemgil Kav is excited about his new task: “I have been observing Finlex’s market presence from the very beginning. The innovative business model represents a quantum leap in the e-business world and thus offers special advantages for commercial brokers in Austria. I am now looking forward to jointly leveraging the great growth and efficiency potential in the cyber and D&O market here thanks to our digital business processing offering.”
Finlex tripled its headcount in 2022
Finlex tripled its headcount in 2022, from just under 40 to more than 120. The InsurTech launched its internationalization plans by entering the Austrian and French markets and has significantly expanded its business volume in both D&O and cyber.
In Austria alone, more than 100 brokers are now using the fully-automated digital platform for the financial lines sector of the commercial and industrial customer insurance market.
