Two exciting days in the Event Pyramid Vienna/Vösendorf are done. At this year’s AssCompact Trend Days, we had the chance to connect in the best possible way with important players in the Austrian insurance industry and to enter into personal dialogue.
With a total of 60 exhibitors, just over 3,000 participants and numerous presentations by experts from the insurance industry, the AssCompact Trend Days 2022 were once again the industry meeting of the year in the Austrian market.
During the interesting lectures, it was possible to gain versatile insights into the industry, both from well-known participants as well as new players. We were also represented and gave insights into the Finlex digital marketplace and trends in the areas of D&O and cyber insurance. “The industrial insurance industry is in a slumber with regard to digitalisation,” said our Country Head Austria, Dr. Peter Loisel, during our Finlex presentation on the first day of the AssCompact Trend Days. The traditional way to conclude D&O or cyber insurance policies is lengthy, not very transparent and often not efficient overall. Therefore, and due to the intensifying shortage of specialists, a wake-up call is urgently needed! While the last two years were marked by difficult renewals in times of market hardening, corona-induced change and geopolitical crises, there now seems to be at least a stabilisation in sight on the hardened D&O market. Not so, however, in the cyber market: “It is no longer just a question of the most attractive premiums,” says Christian Reddig, Founder & Managing Director, “but of whether a policy comes about at all.
In addition, it was a pleasure for us to receive a large number of visitors at our stand. The personal exchange with old acquaintances but also making new contacts made the event special for us. We were able to give insights into our new platform generation and report on our Finlex cyber ecosystem.
