The Finlex France team continues to grow with the appointment of Sophie Delcourt and Frédéric Rousseau.
Finlex is pleased to announce that the French team continues to grow with the arrival of Sophie Delcourt as Head of Sales and Frédéric Rousseau as Product Manager Financial Lines to contribute to the development of its international ambitions in France and to become the leading European platform and ecosystem for Cyber and Financial Lines for companies.
Finlex, the leading digital wholesale broker specialised in Financial Lines, continues its international development. Finlex provides its network of broker partners a platform with unique features in Europe, allowing them to request D&O or Cyber tenders from the main insurers in the market, to negotiate directly with them on the platform and to underwrite and manage all their contracts online.
The InsurTech today announces the appointment of Sophie Delcourt as Head of Sales.
Sophie Delcourt holds a double master’s degree in Business Law and Tax Law. She began her career in 1992 at Marsh in Claims and Civil Liability. She quickly specialised in Financial Risks where she held the position of Account Manager, Key Accounts and SMEs for 5 years. In 2001, she continued her career at AIG as a Senior Financial Risk Underwriter – Financial Institutions. In 2009, she became Head of the Paris Sales office in charge of developing the turnover and managing the broker network with a team of 7 sales representatives. In 2014, she joined TOKIO MARINE HCC as Sales, Marketing and Communication Director for France. For her last role, Sophie returned to the brokerage business as Business Development Director at SERVYR – AUDEO Group.
Her mission within Finlex will be to develop our network of partner brokers and to accompany their growth on our Financial Lines products.
“I am delighted to join the Finlex team and to contribute to its implementation in France. I am convinced that the platform developed for the Financial Lines products will be a real enabler for our partner brokers to facilitate and support the development and management of their customer portfolios.” said Sophie Delcourt on her arrival.
As well as the appointment of Frédéric Rousseau as Product Manager Financial Lines
Frédéric Rousseau has a postgraduate degree in insurance law from the Insurance Institute of Aix-en-Provence, as well as a master’s degree in business law, with a specialisation in insurance and new technology law. In 2005, he joined the Audiens group as a manager and then joined SMABTP in 2007 as a Project Management Advisor.
After 3 years at Albingia in Liability and Construction, he joined Hiscox in 2014 as an Underwriter Developer for Cyber, D&O, Property and Casualty.
Having held the position of Practice Leader for 6 years, he became Cyber Market Manager for the Hiscox France technical team. In the last 2 years, Frédéric worked as an underwriter in industrial risks within the IARD brokerage team of Abeille assurances before deciding to join Finlex.
His mission within Finlex will be to develop the InsurTech’s Cyber, D&O and Professional Liability product range in France.
“I am very excited to be involved in the development of Finlex France as a Product Manager. The Cyber and D&O markets have been somewhat shaken up in recent years, despite significant, if not growing, demand and needs. In this dynamic context, we aim to support our broker partners and help them to respond effectively to these challenges. This will be done with an innovative service which aims to provide access to quality insurance solutions from specialised companies.” shared Frédéric on his arrival.
“With the arrival of Sophie and Frédéric alongside Cyliane, we have brought together the talents needed to achieve our development ambitions in France in 2023. I am delighted that they have chosen to join the adventure and to provide their expertise to Finlex France and our partner brokers of tomorrow.” remarked Emmanuelle Criado.
Pascal Ouvrard, VP Europe at Finlex, added: “The arrival of Sophie and Frédéric completes the skills we need to successfully launch Finlex in France very soon. I look forward to their arrival and welcome them to the Finlex family.”
