On the Pentecost weekend, our long-time companion Elmar Buschlinger passed away suddenly, unexpectedly, and far too soon. Elmar had accompanied Finlex and its founders for many years. He had been an active investor since 2017 and a member of our Advisory Board since 2021.
Elmar believed in us from day one and we owe a lot to him. He played a major role in the successful development of Finlex, and his experience as a true entrepreneur, his wealth of knowledge and his strategic thinking made him an asset at every meeting. Elmar’s kind and down-to-earth nature made it impossible not to feel an instant fondness for him. We are truly grateful to have had the chance to work with him, learn from him, and laugh with him.
Sebastian, Tomasz and Christian lose a mentor and a friend in Elmar. We will dearly miss him and his positive nature.
Our thoughts are with his wife, his three children, his brother, and his other relatives. We will always honor Elmar Buschlinger’s memory at Finlex.
