Vice President Cyber (Insurance) - DACH Region (m/f/d)

This is a great opportunity to join the leading European B2B InsurTech and to contribute at C-level with your own P&L responsibility to support us in our ambitious growth plans both in Germany and across Europe in the highly-demanding and fast-growing area of Cyber insurance. The key features of this position are:

• You have full P&L responsibility and freedom to develop your own ideas.
• You are in charge of the Tech roadmap for Cyber and our Global Corporate customers in the dynamic Cyber insurance area.
• A highly skilled and motivated team is waiting for you. Your team will consist not only of Cyber Insurance Product Development and Cyber experts for Broking business (wholesale structure) but will also include a Product Owner, Marketing experts and Software Engineers to enable you to smoothly execute along the roadmap!
• Additionally, you have responsibility for managing the SME digital placement process on the platform.

Business & Insurance

• You define and develop our Cyber insurance strategy for the DACH region.
• You negotiate with contractual partners (mostly insurers, but also insurance brokers and corporate customers) and develop strong relationships with them.
• You are responsible for the Cyber Product Management team with the objective to develop and maintain coverage concepts as well as to identify and onboard partners into our Cyber Ecosystem.
• You develop the commercial strategy and pricing module on the platform and beyond for the Cyber line of business.
• You support our European expansion plans with projects outside of Germany.
• You manage (Advisory, Broking, Claims) a small selection of our larger customers in our Broking team for Cyber.
• You hold webinars and the like to transfer knowledge to our teams internally and externally to our stakeholders.
• You represent Finlex as the Cyber Head at key market events.

• You define and develop the Cyber Tech roadmap and market strategy.
• You define, integrate and develop Cyber insurance products on the platform.
• You analyse, design and optimize online placement processes for Cyber insurance products.

• You demonstrate expertise in Cyber insurance obtained either at a carrier or broker, based on an insurance degree or training (having legal insurance or product wording experience would be a plus).
• You are an experienced manager and you have proven skills in leading Cyber teams.
• You have an outstanding reputation in the German Cyber market (European reputation would be a plus).
• You are inherently digital or at least very keen to learn it: optimising and digitalising products and processes will become part of your DNA and you will love it!
• You are an innovator and a do-er: you thrive in finding new solutions which you push to implementation.
• You bring analytical thinking, attention to detail, assertiveness, good negotiation skills and experience in leadership responsibility.
• You have an affinity for entrepreneurship and a start-up mentality.
• You work autonomously and demonstrate a structured way of working.
• You are fluent in German and English.
